Situated on a beautiful 10 acre, fully forested, oceanfront lot in Ucluelet Inlet, Kelp Forest Cove is boat-access only—offering you a secluded and peaceful stay. Take in the expansive ocean views from your private king size bed in our unique cedar barrel cabins with a 7ft dome window. With space for up to 12 guests in our 3 cabins plus 5 tent spots, each group will enjoy exclusive access to the whole site during their stay.

Kelp Forest Cove is fully forested with rustic walking trails throughout. Explore the temperate rainforest and see a wide variety of wildlife in the area such as bald eagles, blue herons, black bears and many others. With over 500m of oceanfront shoreline you also have easy access to the beautiful Pacific ocean. Enjoy free access to our canoes and paddlboards to explore the nearby stretches of Ucluelet Inlet.

Overlooking the inlet, fall asleep in your very own cozy cedar-barrel cabin and wake up watching the fog rise from the surrounding rainforest. This is camping in luxury.

  • Each of the three sleeping cabins has one king size bed, two bench seats, a small slide out table and a basic solar power system for charging small electronics. We provide the mattress with bedsheets, pillows and pillowcases and guests bring their own sleeping bag or comforter.

Attending the workshop with someone you know? Save some costs and share a cedar-barrel cabin with a friend. These barrels are equipped with a king-sized bed with plenty of room for 2 to sleep.

  • There are 5 extra flattened spots in the forest for guests to put their own small/medium sized tents and bedding as you would at a regular campsite.
